What were my five favorite films I saw post-Labor Day, pre-Thanksgiving?
1. The Departed
2. The Prestige
3. Volver
4. The Last Kiss
5. Flags of Our Fathers
In serious contention for that fifth spot:
5a. 49 Up
5b. Casino Royale
5c. Stranger Than Fiction
5d. The Queen
5e. Infamous
OK, call it the Top Ten Fall Movies.
Am I wrong? Did I miss anything? Just let me know in the comments!

what films are you looking forward to this holiday season?

Thanks for asking, Nick.
I really liked History Boys a lot, and this past weekend I saw The Holiday, which was cute and funny and silly and romantic. I just got home from seeing Blood Diamond, and thought it was a very good thriller that trumpets its obvious message too loudly (and hypocritically).
Coming up, from Hollywood: I'll probably take Bo and Co to Dreamgirls, and Night at the Museum, and maybe The Pursuit of Happyness, which I'm excited to see, with kids or not. I also look forward to The Good Shepherd, Pan's Labrynth, Children of Men, and Notes on a Scandal.
